It’s Penguin Time!

It’s time to P-p-pick up your Penguins: A LEGO® brick trail map … today!

The adorable LEGO® brick penguins have returned to Plymouth’s city centre. It’s their final year of bringing festive family-fun and Christmas magic to Plymouth.

So, let’s make the most of it! Now in full swing, the adventures started on Saturday 30 November. There are 19 life size LEGO brick penguins and one spectacular Emperor Penguin. They are all hidden in shops and cafés across the city centre, waiting to be discovered!

The trail cards can be collected from each participating business; Drake Circus Shopping Centre, libraries and the Tourist Information Centre. They can also be downloaded from the Visit Plymouth website.

The trail will run until Sunday 5 January 2020. So, you still have plenty of time to seek out all 20 penguin names and add them to the trail card, or enter online: www.visitplymouth.co.uk/plymouth-penguins.

P.P.PRIZES…

All entries must be fully completed and sent in by Wednesday 15 January 2020. Then you will be in for the chance to win some awesome prizes! These include a weekend family trip to LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, courtesy of Plymouth Citycoach! Or a Penguin Feeding Experience at Living Coasts for four people.

The trail is a great opportunity to entertain the children whilst shopping for Christmas gifts or just enjoying some festive treats. Why not head to the Piazza and visit the Christmas Market? Open until 19 December, it’s the perfect place to p-p-pick up some unique gifts for family and friends!

Children will love the Creation Station, who are providing free penguin making craft activities at the market every Sunday. For the selfie-lovers among us, the giant walk-through illuminated bauble arch will be back on the Piazza this year too, providing the perfect backdrop to your festive snaps.

With a family-fun trail, big name brands, fantastic independents, spectacular events and entertainment, a beautifully lit Christmas Market with a Bavarian style bar, there’s plenty to enjoy in Plymouth this festive season. Find out more at www.visitplymouth.co.uk/christmas-in-plymouth
